Media services business PA Group has launched a qualification in media management for staff who have completed the company’s internal training programme.
Accredited by the awarding body NCFE, it is believed to be the first of its kind in the media industry.

The certificate is designed to give PA staff the opportunity to extend their skills in managing people and operations in the media business. Six managers have been awarded the certificate and it will now be rolled out to other managers as part of an ongoing commitment to training.
Rebecca Buck, head of HR, said: “This development provides our team leaders and managers with the practical tools and techniques to enhance their effectiveness with their teams which ultimately has a positive impact on the bottom line.”
