The chief executive of Marconi is to bow to demands to meet
up with the company’s unions before he completes his comprehensive business
review of the troubled telecoms group.
Lord Simpson of Dunkeld has agreed to meet with representatives
from the MSF and the AEEU on September 14 after the unions called for more
employee input in his two-month review of the business.
