Milkround Online launches new website as graduate recruitment market shows green shoots

by Personnel Today 1 Mar 2010
by Personnel Today 1 Mar 2010

As confidence filters back into graduate recruitment, and employers seek fresh talent in 2010, Milkround Online has launched a new web resource for clients, recruiters and hiring managers.

A full range of recruitment solutions is available through Milkround Online, with details of the company’s flagship UK graduate website Milkround.com, white label Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other Online Recruitment Applications, as well as Graduate Career — a publishing partnership with The Times.

Other highlights include:

  • Talent search: ideal to know how many students and graduates can be targeted by specific criteria; helps to focus recruitment campaigns to find the most qualified candidates.
  • Meet the team: clients can get to know the people with whom they’ll work to get the best from Milkround Online’s products and features.
  • Candidate insight: details of how Milkround Online attracts and retains the top talent.
  • Case studies: results and testimonials summarise how Milkround Online has already delivered for leading employers.

Milkround Online has been at the forefront of UK graduate recruitment for more than a decade. As a pioneering digital service launched in 1997, Milkround.com became the first choice among recruiters for finding the UK’s best students and graduates.

Acquired by News International in 2006, Milkround Online is backed by the publisher of the UK’s leading newspapers and websites, including The Times and The Sunday Times. The leverage of News strengthens the entrepreneurial spirit of Milkround, whilst building greater campaign reach potential for clients across market-leading graduate and experienced hire recruitment solutions.

Sales Director Jenni Wollerton said: “This new website captures the innovative and pioneering spirit of Milkround Online whilst providing our full product range and benefits in a transparent and useful way. We want clients to understand what they are buying, why they are buying it, and from whom, so they can be confident of getting the best service from the Milkround Team.”

The new recruitment solutions site was designed and built in-house as an example of Milkround’s IT development expertise, which underpin the ATS and other B2B capabilities available to clients.

IT Director, Tom Kopka, said: “The website demonstrates our innovation, our strong technical competence and our commitment to great usability, accessibility and design. I’m delighted to offer these skills to clients and look forward to meeting their needs of first class websites.”
