How long?
The MSc is a 12 months full time programme.
Entry requirements
A good degree, in any discipline or equivalent.
A professed interest in managing people in a general or specialist capacity or for research purposes
If English is not your first language, proof of competence in English, through passing a test (IELTS 6.0 overall and 6.0 in reading and writing, or TOEFL 550/213 plus preferably TWE 4 or another English Language test acceptable to the University)
Modules
Stage 1 enables a broad based understanding of how organisations operate and the role of specialist functional areas.
Strategic Management
Human Behaviour in Organisations
Managing Business Operations
Management Information Skills
Managing People
In Stage 2 you will follow a module specific to Human Resource Management and choose two out of three modules from the following:
Managing Innovation and Change
Management and Organisational Learning
International Human Resource Management
Stage 3 Research Methods and a dissertation.
A Personal Development Plan and Personal Effectiveness module runs throughout the programme
