At the start of the first ever National Enterprise Week, the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has called on small firms to help young people to fulfil their potential.
Enterprise Week, which takes place 15-21 November 2004, will see hundreds of activities taking place across the UK designed to inspire people in their teens and twenties.

FSB national chairman Carol Undy said: “Enterprising young people make a difference to the small businesses in which they are employed, often adding value through their attitude and character alone.
“By supporting young people, encouraging them to talk about their ideas and delegating genuine responsibilities to them, employers can improve their bottom line as well as driving up employee satisfaction levels,” she said.
