The Department of Health’s chief nurse has called for OH advisers to audit
their own services before their employers do it for them.
"It is important that occupational health nurses lead this process,"
said chief nursing officer Sarah Mullally. "An audit will describe to
people what they do and set out best practice."
Speaking at the launch of the RCN’s occupational health audit guide last
month, Mullally urged OH advisers to involve employees in gaining feedback on
the occupational health service.
