Olympic medal winner, Mark Richardson has joined Lane4, the international performance development consultancy, as a consultant.
Mark joins Lane4 from a background of elite sport, running the 400m at the highest competitive level.
He has won honours at all the major athletics championships, including an Olympic Silver Medal in the 4 x 400m relay in Atlanta.
He is the only European athlete to have beaten Michael Johnson over 400m.
On retiring from track and field, Mark embarked on a successful rights marketing career with Fast Track.
During this time he was instrumental in ensuring the Paralympic World Cup had a lasting legacy by securing Visa as the title sponsor.
Mark was also a core part of the team that achieved the largest sponsorship deal outside of football – Norwich Union’s investment into UK Athletics (£50m between 2007-2012).
