South Wales Police has appointed Dougie Woods as its new HR director. He is responsible for all strategic and operational HR and learning and development within the force. Previously, he was HR director at food manufacturers Coldwater Seafoods.

Ian Donald has been appointed group HR director of the metals and mining group ENRC. He will be tasked with all aspects of HR to improve customer service delivery and product quality. Donald was group HR director at power technologies manufacturer ABB prior to his new role.

Jo Schmocker has joined communications group Bite UK as head of HR and internal communications. She is responsible for all HR-related activity including recruitment, training and development, HR strategy and business planning. Previously, Schmocker was HR manager for British Transport Police.
