Anne Lasjaunias has joined event management specialist Global Meeting Planning as new business development manager. She will be responsible for overseeing project management with the company’s new overseas deals. Fluent in French, Spanish and German, Lasjaunias has worked for employers including Coca-Cola.
Andrew Dorrington has been appointed personnel officer at Lancashire Ambulance Service. Dorrington joins from Chorley and South Ribble NHS Trust, where he was senior HR officer for two and a half years. In his new role, Dorrington will be responsible for recruitment issues concerning NHS Direct for the west coast, based in Broughton and Preston.
Colin Wightman has become payroll and HR officer at Castlereagh College in Belfast. He joins from the Belfast Institute of Further and Higher Education, where he was personnel officer.
Mental health charity the MCCH Society has appointed Pippa Doran as training and development manager. She joins from the London Borough of Southwark Parks and Development, where she was personnel and training manager. In her new post Doran will be in charge of training for managers and the re-evaluation process for Investors in People.
