John Coombe is taking over as chairman of Hogg Robinson, a corporate and employee services firm. Coombe, the former chief financial officer of GlaxoSmithKline, also sits on the supervisory board of Siemens.
Alan Gibbons has joined Buck Consultants, an employee benefits firm, as head of its human capital consulting practice in the UK and Europe. Gibbons was previously a human capital partner with KPMG and PwC accountancy firms.

Martin Hinchliffe, the former HR director at Welcome Break, has left the motorway service provider to set up a generalist HR consultancy business. Hinchliffe is replaced by Karl Jolly.
