SGB Group, a supplier of access and scaffolding products, has appointed David Adams as group HR director. He takes up his role after spending six years with global monitoring and inspection firm SGS, based in Geneva. Prior to that he has held key HR positions with several other major companies, including Guinness.
Steve Jacobs has joined Gissings as the new head of flexible benefits. He will be responsible for helping to consolidate the company’s position as a leading health, risk and flex practice. Jacobs joined Gissings in 1997 and most recently held the role of senior adviser in national accounts. Before joining Gissings, he spent seven years with AXA PPP healthcare.

David Nobes has joined Devonport Management as director of HR. The company operates Devonport Royal Dockyard with a workforce of more than 5,000 employees, engaged in a wide range of marine engineering and design services. His previous jobs have included HR director for Vickers Defence Systems and various senior HR positions within BAT.
Tunde Johnson has been appointed to the new role of compliance and business ethics officer at staffing services firm Adecco. He will be responsible for developing the group’s internal compliance procedures and the wider business culture. Johnson has been with the company since 1996 and previously served as HR manager with Manpower in the UK.
