Sandra Kerr has been appointed as the new national director of Race for
Opportunity. She replaces Andrea Callender, who left to join the BBC in April.
The first chair of the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) has been confirmed as
Lawrence Churchill, formerly chief executive of Zurich Financial Services, Life
Businesses. Churchill also previously worked for NatWest. He will take up his
position with the PPF in July, subject to Parliamentary approval.

Catering Partnership has appointed Sue Slee as HR officer. She joined the
contract catering company in May and is now responsible for the needs of 450
staff. Previously, Slee spent six years working in HR and administration with
warehousing and distribution company, Hayes Distribution.
Northgate, a supplier of software applications to the HR market has
announced the appointment of four new directors to the board. Nick Starritt and
David Hodgson have joined as non-executive directors, while two of North-gate’s
existing divisional heads, David Meaden and Malcolm Aldis, have been promoted.
