Jo Daubney has joined Young’s Seafood as HR director. Daubney joined from BSN Medical, where she was Western Europe HR manager. She will be responsible for driving employee engagement and ensuring that Young’s continues to attract the strong candidates that it needs as it grows.

Jamie Sims has been appointed interim head of HR at Cumbria County Council, on secondment from York City Council, where he holds the same post. Sims will be responsible for all aspects of HR, including corporate learning and development.
Petrofac has appointed Geoff Tranfield as group head of HR. Tranfield joins from Hess Corporation, where he was vice-president HR, worldwide exploration and production. His new role will focus on further developing best practice and HR policies across the group.
