On the move: Nigel Perks, Irene Tollner and Ling Xu

Nigel Perks has joined BT as chief HR officer, BT Global Services. He was previously group HR director at Logica and will be responsible for employee relations, resourcing and skills capability, workplace and security, mergers and acquisitions and outsourcing.

Cable & Wireless Europe, Asia and US has promoted Irene Tollner to HR director for all regions outside the UK. She previously held the same role in Asia Pacific, and will have overall responsibility for managing the HR programmes and initiatives driven by the region-specific teams of all international markets for Cable & Wireless.

Paragon Law has appointed Ling Xu to the new role of HR and projects manager. Her responsibilities will include recruitment, appraisals, training and monitoring employment legislation.
