On the move : recent human resources job appointments

Children’s charity NCH has welcomed Richard Cove as executive director of  human resources (HR). His main focus is to develop a new strategic framework for HR that is integral to the company’s organisational strategy. Previously, Cove was HR director at Canon UK.

Deborah Shaw has been promoted to head of HR at private bank Brown Shipley. Shaw will be tasked with managing all aspects of HR in relation to current employment legislation. Shaw was HR business partner at consultancy PricewaterhouseCoopers before joining the bank.

Lisa Deas has joined manufacturing firm Aliaxis as learning and development adviser. Her focus will be employee development, working closely with all the company’s UK business arms. Prior to joining, Deas was at food company Ardo UK, where she was training and development officer.
