Telefónica O2 Europe has named Simon Linares as its new group HR director, responsible for the company’s businesses in Europe outside of Spain. Linares, who will sit on the board at Telefónica O2 Europe, joins from Diageo, where he was HR director, Africa.

Heather Davies has been appointed HR director at Insight Investment, where she will lead the HR team, with responsibility for recruitment, retention and employee development. Davies was previously head of HR, Europe at Alliance Bernstein.
Employee benefits provider B&CE Benefit Schemes has announced the appointment of Christine Webb as its head of HR and business services. Prior to joining B&CE, Webb managed her own business consultancy.
