Personnel Today Awards 2010: shortlist announced

The shortlist for this year’s Personnel Today Awards has been unveiled.

HR teams from some of the UK’s biggest and most respected organisations will be battling it out in a total of 17 categories to take home a prestigious Personnel Today Award.

A panel of judges made their decision on the shortlisted teams and individuals from a bumper crop of high quality entries this year. Each category winner will then be vying for the coveted overall award, given to the best of the best.

Companies such as Boots, McDonald’s, Santander, Mitchells & Butlers, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and Royal Mail represent the private sector, with several local councils, NHS trusts and government organisations flying the flag for the public sector.

Outstanding individuals are also represented in the HR Director of the Year category, and the new HR Rising Star category.
