A-Plant, a leading hirer of non-operated plant and construction equipment, is to introduce the concept of e-learning through e2train’s Kallidus Authoring Tool.
The courses will complement other forms of training across its 225 UK branches.
The company’s initial requirement is to introduce an online version of its induction training packages and paper-based tests.
It also wants to offer alternative training methods for its internal software system, including the facility to deliver courses over the intranet.
“Kallidus impressed us with its usability,” said Sarah Muirhead, A-Plant’s training manager. “This is important because we have a lot of very effective existing training material and we wanted to maintain the quality, but run it online in a quick and cost-effective manner. Kallidus enabled us to accomplish this easily and effectively.”
