Prestigious certification demonstrates Cezanne Software’s on-going commitment to data security

by Personnel Today 21 Sep 2009

Leading global HCM software vendor, Cezanne Software, has been awarded ISO 27001:2005 certification for its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) HR and Talent Management solutions.

The only internationally accepted security standard, ISO 27001 requires that companies demonstrate that they undertake a systematic approach to managing sensitive corporate information and ensuring data security.

Carlo Ugdulena, CEO of Cezanne Software says: “This accreditation is very important to us as it demonstrates that Cezanne adheres to the highest possible standards in its operational practices for data security. HR data is highly sensitive and with this accreditation clients can be confident that we have the necessary measures and internal procedures in place to protect their data and minimise any potential security risks.”

He continues; “As far as I am aware, we are one of only a handful of vendors providing SaaS HR & talent management software to achieve this accreditation. This demonstrates that, once again, Cezanne Software is leading the way in raising the standard of service delivery to customers.”

Andrew Paul, Cezanne’s Customer Services Director, comments: “We found the accreditation process to be very rigorous and very detailed. Importantly for us, the process has allowed us to align our existing approach to managing client data in a confidential way with an effective framework to direct our working practices, processes and procedures. The result, I believe, is a high level of confidence for our customers and partners that the Cezanne On-Demand service is delivered using a highly secure Cloud computing environment.”

The certification was awarded by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Ltd (LRQA), the leading UKAS business assurance company. Part of the Lloyd’s Register Group, LRQA provides certification of compliance with international management system standards and helps clients use management systems to reduce their risks and improve their business.
