RAD Awards 2012: winners announced

by John Eccleston 20 Jan 2012
by John Eccleston 20 Jan 2012

The RAD Awards 2012 took place last night at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, recognising the best in recruitment media and communications across a range of categories.

The awards ceremony, hosted by comedian Sean Lock and Sky Sports presenter Millie Clode, was attended by more than 1,100 of the country’s leading recruitment media professionals.

The evening saw a total of 19 awards handed out, including the award for Work of the Year, chosen from the list of 18 individual category winners.

That honour went to Penna for its work on KPMG’s Graduate Assessment, which also picked up the award for Innovation earlier in the evening.

Judges praised the work’s “superb concept” and attention to detail, and described it as “admirable in its efforts, experience and results, demonstrating a true client-agency partnership”, adding: “So much work went into this to get it right.”

As well as the overall award for Work of the Year, 18 category awards were handed out at the ceremony. This year the awards included four brand new categories to reflect the constantly evolving recruitment communications landscape. These were: Best Use of Mobile; Emerging Talent Campaign; Employer Brand and International Campaign.

Personnel Today will be exclusively showcasing the winners’ work on a dedicated website from Monday 23 January.
