Social savvy recruiters utilising social media in their recruitment strategy

With the increased popularity of social media tools such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, and the need to reduce recruitment costs, in house recruiters are becoming more social savvy and attempting to utilise these tools in their recruitment strategy.

Recruiters are increasingly looking at alternative methods to recruit talent and gone are the days where traditional job boards and agencies were the main source of candidates. Recruiters are now turning to social media to enhance their recruitment strategy. This is evident by the increased popularity and demand for workshops and conferences concentrating on this subject.

Social recruitment experts Hire Solutions is to stage a Social Media in Recruitment Workshop on 26th May for corporate recruiters on the importance of social media and the tools needed to maximise recruitment strategy.
