Strike averted at IBC factory

The
threat of a strike at the General Motors-owned IBC van factory in Luton has
abated.

Ananova reports that workers have accepted a three-year pay deal.

Employees
had warned of further industrial action, but have accepted a deal which will
see them get a 2.75 per cent increase in year one, and inflation plus 0.5 per
cent in years two and three.
