Author: Debra Fine
ISBN: 0749928638

The slightly dippy ‘send out positive energy’ advice aside, Fine’s book breaks down into practical, sensible chapters. She uses simple techniques (her words) to facilitate confident speaking, but some may find her advice a little too basic. But it is sound advice – anyone who has ever heard a recording of themselves will appreciate her tips on using productive pauses rather ‘ums’ and ‘errs’ to fill the gaps.
