by Personnel Today 19 Aug 2008
by Personnel Today 19 Aug 2008

Totaljobs.com’s Graduate Zone is offering graduate jobseekers across the country a unique opportunity to chat online with some of the UK’s most coveted graduate recruiters.

GradU8.com, the latest virtual graduate recruitment event from totaljobs.com, offers jobseekers a unique and engaging platform to view the latest Graduate opportunities through video and webinars whilst giving them the opportunity to talk to Graduate Recruiters, other graduates, and Careers Advisors online.

Mike Fetters, Graduate Sales Director at totaljobs.com said

“Our jobseekers want us to provide them with a unique and innovative online graduate recruitment event that is both engaging and informative. We have responded with a specialised product that allows graduates to not only chat with potential employers in a live environment but also apply for relevant jobs instantly”.

Targeting thousands of graduates through a fully integrated marketing campaign, totaljobs.com will be launching its first virtual graduate recruitment event on 27th October.

GradU8 runs from 27th – 31st October and features a different sector each day which include IT & Engineering, Finance & Professional Services, Retail & FMCG and Sales & Marketing with the last day devoted to all other graduate training programmes.

Graduate recruiters will have the opportunity to promote their brand amongst a highly targeted graduate audience who can then view their offering, download corporate profiles, videos, podcasts, brochures, view job opportunities and then apply online.

IBM, PWC, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Standard Chartered are just a few names already onboard to participate in the inaugural GradU8.

Donna Miller, Director of International Human resources at Enterprise Rent-A-Car said

“We’re very excited to finally have the opportunity to display our graduate offering in a cut-through and animated environment to our media savvy audience – it’s certain to be the graduate recruitment premier event of the year. And with totaljobs.com behind it, we’re convinced it will be a huge success”

“With such a large uptake from clients so far, totaljobs.com are very confident and excited to be launching this fantastic product into the graduate recruitment market”, Mike Fetters added.
