Kenexa (NASDAQ:KNXA), a global provider of business solutions for human resources, today announced the expansion of its relationship with Unilever to support the global company with employee engagement surveys and improved action planning capability.

Leveraging the successful partnership and using both surveys and assessments, Kenexa and Unilever have developed an extended relationship that will enable the companies to assess the engagement of more than 140,000 Unilever employees worldwide. Delivered through customised instruments that blend with Unilever’s structure, culture and business objectives, the employee engagement survey will be administered in 2010 and again in 2012.

“Our customers continue to expand their relationships with us, and their trust in us is a true testament to our commitment to delivering extreme and relevant service,” said Ritu Mohanka, Managing Director of Kenexa’s survey business in EMEA. “Our experience in administering surveys in multiple languages and across multiple channels, coupled with our latest management development offering, made us the best choice for helping Unilever drive organisational success. We look forward to continuing to work with Unilever and its employees to maximise their opportunities to succeed.”

Wayne Hoare, Unilever’s Senior Vice President for Leadership and Organisation Development, commented: “We are building a reputation as one of the world’s most admired employers by providing an environment where individuals can achieve their goals, both professionally and personally. With the addition of the Kenexa solutions we are better able to identify, and act on, the drivers of employee engagement.”
