The
TUC has launched a major new website to provide employment rights advice to
non-union members.
The
TUC says the site www.worksmart.org.uk
will be the most comprehensive guide to
employment rights available on the web. Alongside it will be a guide to health
at work – covering a range of topics including RSI, bullying, stress and bad
backs.
The site
will also include a ‘union finder’ that will tell employees the right union to
join.
The
TUC also plans to add advice on pensions, career development and other money
issues.

TUC
general secretary John Monks said: "This is a major new initiative by the
TUC to reach out to Britain’s new web-enabled, but often non-union,
workplaces."
