Wolters Kluwer, the most respected provider of business, consultancy services and compliance solutions in the UK, has chosen ADP Employer Services to run the payroll for its entire UK workforce.
ADP will be providing its web-based freedom solution in a three year contract and the service is set to go live in May.
The company, which is based in Kingston, London, previously ran its payroll in-house.
It made the decision to outsource in order to cut costs, mitigate risk and take advantage of the additional functionality on offer, such as Employee Self Service.
As a market leader, Wolters Kluwer UK prides itself on being a great company to work for and it wanted a first class payroll and HR service to reflect this.
ADP freedom impressed Wolters Kluwer UK due to its comprehensive payroll and HR functionality, which encompasses real time, best practice payroll alongside training and development, absence management, performance management and benefits features.
The company will also be making use of ADP’s ESS offering and was attracted by ADP’s flexibility and ability to roll the service out in a phased approach, providing increasing levels of access over a number of months.
“We were keen to find a payroll service that would provide us with dedicated support and ADP fit the brief,” explains Eamonn Quinn, Project Manager, Wolters Kluwer UK. “We were also won over by ADP’s ability to meet our needs with regards to functionality and implementation, allowing us to roll out at a speed that is comfortable for us.”

The choice of ADP freedom to manage its payroll across the UK ensures that this area of the business will match the high standards of the organisation.”
