Hazel Warhurst has joined Daisy Group as group head of HR. She joins from Eurotel, the Halifax-based telecoms company acquired by Daisy in 2009. Warhurst has spent 15 years in HR, holding senior management roles at Weir Group and BT. She will be responsible for the company’s in-house learning and development team, training for all new starters and ongoing training for existing Daisy employees. She will also manage recruitment, quality and health and safety across all sites.
Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services has appointed Claire Silvester UK HR director. She will be responsible for HR at the company’s aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul business at Almondbank, Croydon and Fleetlands. Silvester was previously with Aliaxis, the international building products group, as UK HR director, and has more than 20 years’ experience in service and manufacturing HR.
