Outside Adventure welcomes Cadbury-Schweppes to launch new Ger Tent facilities

by Personnel Today 19 Jun 2009
by Personnel Today 19 Jun 2009

One of the fastest growing team building and training agencies in the UK,  Outside Adventure, has created a Mongolian Ger tent village on Eastnor Castle Estate.

These 4 or 5 bedded Ger Tents now offer up to 45 people a warm and unique overnight experience, including catering, that makes any team build or corporate event truly memorable and distinctive.

First clients to experience the Mongolian Ger experience last month were a team from Cadbury Schweppes.

Phil Turston of Cadbury commented:

“Onsite accommodation on experiential training courses such as these is extremely rare, but the Ger Tents make the tailored course at Outside a really different experience, not to mention inexpensive. My colleagues are still talking about what they learnt from their Outside experience four months later and I fully expect this team to be doing the same – it just gets better.”

Outside Adventure offers a variety of premium motivational and facilitated days that immerse individuals and teams in the spirit of adventure. Run by D3 Events, formally trading as D3 Management, Outside is constantly evolving its offering to ensure an unrivalled experience.

Kester Wilkinson, Manager of Outside comments:

“2009 has definitely been our busiest year yet.  I am convinced the introduction of unique experiences such as the Ger Tents, Wilderness Cookery, Castle Siege and a Castle Zip wire, in addition to the high quality and dynamic approach to business training are a consummate part of Outside’s popularity.  This is the second time we have welcomed a team from Cadbury within the last 4 months!”

D3 Events has moved to larger premises on the Eastnor Castle estate and can now also offer meeting and conference facilities alongside a full range of team-building activities.

The agency continues to create and manage branded events and product launches for clients on a global basis with a dynamic creativity that sets them apart.
