Amris celebrates ten year anniversary with MBO

by Personnel Today 22 Aug 2008

The Internet Corporation, owner of the Amris e-recruitment solution, today announces the details of its recent change in ownership.

Chief Executive, Mark Kieve, and the senior management team have completed a deal that sees the majority stake in the business revert to the people who run it.

“In a tough economic climate, the continued success of the Amris e-recruitment platform is testament both to the core value proposition and the excellence of the Amris team;” commented Mark Kieve.

“The management buy-out enables us to take full charge of Amris’ future and accelerate the plans we have for expanding the business at the same time as ensuring an even better service to our growing client base.”

Amris has a big international footprint of which it is rightly proud and works with leading companies across all business sectors including Serco Group plc, Aon, Specsavers, Primark, Cancer Research UK and English Heritage.

Long-standing client relationships are assured due to the service, support and success each company enjoys as a result of its use of the Amris platform.

Its ability to vastly decrease the recruitment lifecycle, combined with the company’s innate understanding of the challenges faced when trying to recruit quality staff, make Amris a critical factor of each client’s business.

The business originally started out as an IT recruitment company in 1969, launching Amris e-recruitment and being re-christened the Internet Corporation in 1998.

Amris has been constantly enhanced and evolved over the years under the direction of Mark Kieve.

An active evangelist and pioneer of internet solutions to common business challenges, Mark has been instrumental in driving forwards the understanding and adoption of e-recruitment strategies, partly through his involvement as a founder member of the Online Recruitment Marketing Council (ORMC).

The future of the company is now mapped out and set to include expansion in a number of synergistic areas.

Amris, which already functions superbly for RPO purposes as well as an internal end-to-end recruitment platform for corporate clients, will evolve further with the introduction of a number of modules currently at an advanced stage of R&D.

The UK-based team will also be further extending their geographical reach, building on existing success in key locations and steering the company into a new era of opportunity.
