Age Concern has appointed Arthur Tanner as the charity’s new director of central services. He has assumed responsibility for HR, organisation development, IT, legal and administration. Tanner was formerly HR and services director for magazine publishers IPC Media, and was also group HR director for book publisher, The Random House Group.
Stuart Walkley has been appointed executive vice-president EMEA for Right Management Consultants, the career transition and organisational consulting business. Prior to joining the firm’s corporate leadership team, he was responsible for pan-European and international sales opportunities for the company.
Interactive University (IU), the global e-learning centre and hub for Scottish further and higher education, has appointed Valery Hurst as HR manager. She brings more than 15 years’ experience in HR across the retail, IT, telecoms and hi-tech industries.
