MSc Management, University of Glamorgan

How long?
The course can be taken as an intensive full-time one-year course, or it is offered on a part-time basis and is between two and two and a half years in duration. The course is flexible, delivered as block release weekend learning once every six weeks.

Entry requirements
Applicants will need a 2:2 honours degree or an equivalent qualification, or, in exceptional circumstances, three years or more of significant managerial experience will be considered.

Modules
Candidates normally study six modules at Certificate level (managing people, managing operations, managing marketing, financial and cost management, the corporate environment, and research methods) and three double modules at diploma level (strategic management and two double modules from a range of options). This is followed by a dissertation to achieve the Masters level. For the dissertation, students focus on an area of management that is of interest to them.

The MSc Management is a new course designed to develop a broad knowledge of contemporary management and management skills. It is equally suited to people within private and public sector organisations and achieving this qualification will allow for a high degree of flexibility in career choices.
