The
Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has introduced two
qualifications to reflect the growing emphasis on ‘soft skills’, such as
communication, teamworking and staff development.
The
CIPD has launched a new Certificate in Leadership and a new Advanced
Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring.
The
programme has been introduced as more evidence emerges of the importance that
coaching and mentoring styles have on the success of all types of companies.
The
new certificates are also an important step in shifting the skills of coaching
and mentoring on to a professional level.
