Aramark has selected a labour scheduling solution from Kronos to ensure that 7,500 employees in China are in the right place at the right time to deliver superior service.

Kronos’ Workforce Central suite will be implemented in Mandarin Chinese to best support Aramark as it provides catering services in Beijing.

“Kronos’ physical presence in China, our previous experiences with Kronos, and the company’s documented ability to perform complex scheduling in a timely fashion for high-profile organizations led to our decision to deploy the Kronos scheduling solution,” said Kirsten Scheurmann, human resources director, Aramark.

Aramark is a world leader in providing award-winning food, hospitality, and facility management services, and high-quality uniform and work apparel.

Aramark has a long history with Kronos. Along with existing implementations in the United States and the United Kingdom, Aramark is extending its relationship with Kronos into China.

“Global hospitality providers understand the intricate challenges behind delivering world-class experiences, and Aramark is no exception,” said Kara Barker, director of hospitality marketing at Kronos.

“Maintaining appropriate staffing levels, controlling labour costs, and ensuring staff have the proper qualifications to provide quality food standards are all keys to successful large-scale event planning. Kronos is pleased to support Aramark with labour scheduling on a global scale.”
