When I was employed in a college, we used to request CRB checks on all of our employees. But in a hospital, no matter where an individual works, there is always a chance that they could come into contact with a patient, young child or vulnerable adult.
Surely it is better for patients and their families to be reassured that all employees of the hospital have been fully referenced?
