Those looking to reap the benefits of good personnel management, including better organisational performance, can book one of the last few places at a conference in Aberdeen, featuring Starbucks Coffee UK’s Human Resources Director as the keynote speaker.

Joyce Woodrow is presenting at ‘Best’ Practice Makes Perfect 08 next Tuesday (9th September).

The event, which is aimed at anyone who deals with personnel issues, including line managers, businesspeople and HR professionals, takes place at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, and is organised by cushydoos, the associate event management company of Aberdeen-headquartered training, human resource (HR) and recruitment consultancy, the Urquhart Partnership.

Karen Reid, cushydoos Business Development Director, said: “People are an organisation’s most valuable asset – this conference will help delegates learn best practice and come up with solutions that will work well for them back in the office.

“We’re also delighted to welcome the HR Director of such as well known global brand as Starbucks to Aberdeen to share her knowledge and experience with those attending.”

Other guest speakers are: Sylvia Halkerston, HR Director at independent food ingredients manufacturer Macphie of Glenbervie; Lili Hunter, Employment Lawyer and Partner at regional law firm Ledingham Chalmers LLP; Alan Crozier, Managing Director at Q4 Consulting and Dean Hunter, Director of Human Resources at energy services company, Production Services Network.
