Brandon Hall Research, an independent organisation providing objective research about online learning, has suggested small and mid-sized organisations looking for ‘an affordable means of managing e-learning test–drive the Course-Source LMS.’
Brandon Hall’s recently published ‘LMS KnowledgeBase 2007,’ an annual investigation into more than 60 learning management systems, comparing some 200 different features, Brandon Hall said Course-Source provided “a hosted solution with some robust features for entry-level LMS buyers.”
“For an entry-level LMS, the number of possible customisations is surprising,” Brandon Hall concluded. “The company has created multiple interfaces for single instillations and multilingual portals in a few European languages. Switching between languages is seamless for the end-user with the click of a single button.”
The report ended by saying: ‘If you are new to an LMS and primarily need to manage e-learning initiatives, cost alone makes Course-Source worth a second look. Because the solution is hosted and customisations are done by the company, hardware and technical expertise requirements are minimal.’
Course-Source currently provides its multi-award winning LMS to 110 organisations with 300,000 registered users worldwide. The Brandon Hall report is the latest in a series of accolades for Course-Source, which won a prestigious 2006 National Training Award for a high quality yet cost effective e-learning programme within the NHS.
