An employment tribunal has awarded a waitress £124,000 after she was harassed by a chef at an exclusive members club in Mayfair, London.
The central London tribunal upheld her claim for sex discrimination and unfair dismissal after hearing the waitress, 26, was repeatedly quizzed in ‘crude sexual terms’ by the famous chef about her sexual experience.
The chef and the waitress cannot be named for legal reasons.
Media reports claim the chef has cooked for stars including Madonna, Hugh Grant and Sir Elton John.

Tribunal chairman Gordon Etherington said the tribunal was “satisfied that the atmosphere in the kitchen was heavy with sexual overtones and that the chef was a bullying his general approach to the staff”.
“All feared to cross him and he brought that same bullying and arrogant approach in seeking to establish a sexual relationship with the claimant,” he added.
