Council
workers look set to strike again this month, hitting vital services.
Workers,
supported by local government union Unison, want the London Weighting allowance
increased to £4,000-a-year.
Currently,
the allowance stands at £2,800 for inner London and £1,500 for outer London.
Workers
have already held a series of strikes as part of the union’s campaign to get
the allowance increased.
