Firefighters
and support staff from the Defence Fire Service (DFS) are protesting against
Ministry of Defence (MoD) plans to sell it off.
The
MoD is expected to take a decision on the sale in October 2003, but unions say
any sale will cost jobs.
The
DFS provides fire and crash services at all MoD sites in the UK and overseas.
Unions
claim cost savings without privatisation.
