Faceless MDs fail to motivate UK workforce

Nearly 40
per cent of workers would not recognise their company’s managing director.

In a recent
online survey conducted by Select Appointments, 39 per cent of the 475
employees polled said they wouldn’t have a clue what their MD looked liked.

Rebecca
Bunney, marketing and communications manager of Select, said: "Our latest
on-line survey revealed some disturbing data.

"Ideally,
managing directors should be setting a good example in terms of building their
corporate culture and raising staff morale, to help reduce attrition rates."
