Research launched today shows nine out of 10 HR professionals have a number of strategies, programmes and initiatives in place to support continued employee development.
And nearly 89 per cent are open to adopting new ways of learning or already have Web-based training techniques.
The research was undertaken by Taylor Nelson Sofres on behalf of e-learning software provider Skillsoft and was based on interviews with 200 senior HR professionals.
Almost half of respondents expect an increase in training expenditure, while 30 per cent expect budgets to remain at similar levels.
