Get ready for the anti-ageism laws

With just six months to go until the anti-ageism regulations come into effect, it’s time for HR to make age a priority – if you aren’t doing so already.

Just in case you were in any doubt as to why this new law is being introduced, in this issue, trade and industry secretary Alan Johnson spells out the thinking behind it. The government recognises that HR has a crucial role to play in driving through these changes to our way of working and, ultimately, our way of thinking.
