Goddard Gadd, the creative industries recruitment specialist, is launching a MySpace profile designed to bring candidates and employers closer together in an informal environment.
Pitched at the next generation of creative professionals in new media, marketing, design and PR, Goddard Gadd’s MySpace page will allow candidates and employers to meet informally online to talk about industry, trends and issues.
Launched at an exclusive party at 3Rooms on Thursday, 19th April, the new site aims to provide a space which breaks down the traditional borders between job seekers and companies looking for talent. The site launches with a number of topical forums and will feature research, opinion and a list of upcoming events from Goddard Gadd including their annual ‘Blue Book’ salary watch.
Chris McCafferty, corporate communications director for MySpace Europe, commented: “Creativity and self-expression are in the DNA of MySpace, so it’s really natural for us to help create a networking environment for people in the creative industries. Many people already use their profiles as a way of building their career network, and the Goddard Gadd profile is a natural extension of that.”

Liam Fisher, client services director added: “The Goddard Gadd MySpace profile will be a great way for creative professionals to network and talk about the highs and lows of the creative industries. This exciting venture not only allows us to show a much more personal and social side to recruitment, but it allows us to give our insight into the industry. MySpace has revolutionised the way the world communicates so understandably we’re incredibly excited to jump onboard!”
