Grass Roots assists Asda in its focus on customers’ needs

by Personnel Today 27 Oct 2008
by Personnel Today 27 Oct 2008

Asda, part of the Wal-Mart family, has been trading for more than 40 years in the UK and is now a major recognised supermarket chain. Asda’s approach to customer satisfaction is based upon excellent value, powerful presentation and helpful colleagues – all combining to make a happy shopping experience.

Download the case study to discover how Grass Roots supported Asda with its ‘Always Happy to Help’ employee engagement programme to successfully enhance customer satisfaction. Asda was recently recognised at the prestigious Grocer Awards 2008 where they won awards for price, availability and service. This is the first time all three awards have been won by one retailer.

“Asda has not only achieved national recognition for having the UK’s lowest prices verses its rivals at the Annual Grocer Awards 2008, we have also picked up the prestigious Service Award which can be attributed to our focus throughout the year.  The introduction of our ‘Always Happy to Help’ engagement programme has provided a real focus on our customer needs.”
