GSMA launches online total reward and flexible benefits

Thomsons Online Benefits has launched online total reward statements and flexible benefits for the GSMA, a worldwide organisation that represents the interests of the mobile communications industry globally.

GSMA selected Thomsons as their strategic partner with the aim of enhancing employees’ understanding of their benefits package and array of choice, whilst maximising the value of their reward spend through intelligent broking.

Visibility and transparency were key elements of a strong communications strategy, under the brand ‘GSMA Life’, that included both on and offline media as well as face-to-face presentations.

A bespoke benefits website was built with Thomsons’ award-winning technology where the GSMA’s 127 UK based workforce can visualize their total reward on top of salary, make benefits selections and manage their pension in real time. Some of the benefits on offer are private medical insurance, cycle-to-work, childcare vouchers, gym membership, discounted dining and health assessments. Employees can also opt to contribute via salary sacrifice to their GPP in order to save on National Insurance contributions, and can use the Pension Calculator on their site to forecast their retirement income.
