Music label EMI has appointed Jenny Bryant as its new HR chief.
Bryant will join the company at the end of June as global president of HR after winding down her role as interim group HR director at Vodafone.
EMI has been operating under an interim HR director since July 2008, but a spokeswoman could not confirm why a permanent HR director had not been appointed beforehand.
Bryant was previously regional HR director for Vodafone Emerging Markets, responsible for 35,000 employees across Central Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
