Jobpartners helps 3 UK win award for best corporate use of online recruitment

Jobpartners, a European leader in people and talent management, today announced that long time client 3, one of the U.K.’s leading mobile networks, have won the Onrec.com award for ”Best Corporate Use of Online Recruitment.”

The award recognises the company with the best implementation of an online recruitment strategy, through the development of their careers site.

Powered by Jobpartners’ ActiveRecruiter online recruitment solution, 3 was able to beat fifteen leading household brands to win the award.

Rebecca Baker, Recruitment Director at 3 UK says:

“This is great recognition for our online recruitment efforts. We believe the application process should be as easy and smooth as possible for the applicant, to ensure that they have a positive experience both internally and externally.

“We are looking to refresh the site later this year to give an updated picture of the company’s culture, the people it looks for and why they should choose 3 to build their careers. Getting these things right and being consistent means we can build our employer brand and attract the right people.”

The key driver to 3’s success was to make the careers website as simple as possible, so that applying for a job is a smooth and straightforward process.

Candidates are able to see what a career at 3 would be like through watching short video clips of employees talking about life at the company.

Applicants are also able to create and update a profile, search and apply for positions and create email alerts for roles matching their criteria.

They can also monitor the progress of their application online. The candidate’s time spent on the site completing an application has also been significantly reduced from 30 minutes to 10 minutes, due to the streamlined system. In addition, if the candidate is a 3 customer, selected vacancies can be viewed on their mobile phones.

Jobpartners’ ActiveRecruiter solution helps employers to manage the recruitment process quickly and efficiently, looking after the candidate through all stages of recruitment from the definition of a position, to candidate onboarding and even internal mobility.

Since using ActiveRecruiter, 3 has been able to reduce its reliance on external recruitment agencies with a significant increase in direct hires.

The solution has also given 3 the opportunity to reduce overall administration, by making it possible to simultaneously post jobs to multiple channels such as job boards, the corporate website, universities and recruitment agencies.

Patrice Barbadette, founder of Jobpartners says:

“We are delighted to have helped 3 win this award. This is a great endorsement of ActiveRecruiter and how it can help organisations develop strong one-to-one relationships with candidates during the hiring process. This means that organisations can enhance their employer brand by improving the candidate experience, resulting in better hires.”
