Kellogg’s has hired Karen McCormick as its European HR vice-president to cover maternity leave.
McCormick started at the cereal maker in February and will cover the maternity leave of Karen Meehan until January 2011.
She said: “I am delighted to take on this role at Kellogg’s as it is a great company. As part of the leadership team in Europe and through the HR team I will be helping to build people capability from the strong base which already exists.”
Before joining Kellogg’s, McCormick was chief executive of the Cheshire Building Society for four years transforming the company into a mutual, and a people performance director at Sainsbury’s.
She has also worked in senior HR roles at The Reality Group and GUS home shopping.
