Keytime delivering combined payroll package to international mailing house

by Personnel Today 25 Jun 2008
by Personnel Today 25 Jun 2008

Payroll and Time & Attendance software specialist Keytime has been awarded the contract to provide a combined solution to help electronically track overtime payments for full service mailing house Jordan & Company International.

The company, which was established in 1983, is based in Witney in the heart of West Oxfordshire and is a leading provider of mailing services including polywrapping and enclosing for direct mail, magazine and bulk mailing.

Around 50 staff are employed at the modern 30,000 square feet premises, providing a one stop solution for the smallest to the largest national and international mailing requirements, and Keytime Time & Attendance has been installed to ensure that any additional overtime is paid correctly on top of their standard ‘core’ wages.

In the past the company had used punchcards and then a DOS driven package was introduced, which became outdated.

It has been replaced by Greater Manchester-based Keytime’s advanced electronic technology that will provide seamless electronic staff clocking capability and automated processing linked to the existing Keytime Payroll software.

“We have been a satisfied customer of Keytime Payroll for over ten years and when the decision was taken to modernise our overtime tracking procedures we had no hesitation in turning to Keytime Time & Attendance,” says Anthony Burns, Jordan & Company International Ltd Company Accountant.

“Now we will be combining the technology in a highly efficient integrated system to electronically provide the correct overtime payments for all of our 50 staff, and we also have the additional benefit of only having one company to call for support.”
